Advocacy, Campaign, and Communication Manager
Sebagai Advocacy, Campaign, and Communication Manager, Wahyu berfokus pada kerja-kerja advokasi dan kampanye pada isu gambut serta isu-isu turunannya yang terkait, seperti karhutla, food estate, kawasan hutan, restorasi, penegakan hukum dalam kasus lingkungan, dan lain sebagainya. Alumi jurusan politik UIN Syarif Hidayatullah ini juga banyak melakukan analisis bacaan terhadap kebijakan-kebijakan terkait gambut.
Sejak keterlibatannya dalam advokasi TPST Bojong pada tahun 2004 silam, dirinya mulai mengenal isu lingkungan. Dirinya kemudian melanjutkan menggeluti isu petani dan agraria di DPP Serikat Petani Indonesia (SPI) pada tahun 2007 hingga 7 tahun setelahnya. Hal tersebut mendorongnya memahami isu lingkungan pada prespektif akar rumput. Pada awal 2014, Wahyu diamanahi sebagai ACSM Specialist (Advocacy-Communication-Social Mobilisation) pada PR TB-Aisyiyah (isu kesehatan TB-HIV program PP Aisyiyah) dengan pendekatan lebih strategis kebijakan dalam konteks advokasi, khususnya di bidang kesehatan. Segudang pengalamannya itu akhirnya mengantarkannya menjadi Manajer Kampanye Pangan, Air, dan Ekosistem Esensial Eksekutif Nasional WALHI periode 2017−2022. Di sana, ia berfokus pada gambut, lamun dan mangrove (pesisir), dan karst.

Through the launch of the 'Drowned Peatland' study, Pantau Gambut highlighted the flood threat in Peat Hydrological Units (KHG) across Indonesia, which are divided into three regions: Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Papua.
